Bingo Advisory Committee Work plan

Comment on improvement and status of the bingo industry.
The BAC will review and comment on charitable bingo gross
receipts, charitable distributions, expenses, attendance and any other area requested by the
commission.

Comment on existing and proposed rules.
The BAC will review existing rules and offer comments or
recommendations for change. The BAC will review draft rules and offer comment prior to their
presentation to the commission unless an emergency requires otherwise.

Comment on effect of Administrative Rules and Regulations on bingo operations.
The BAC will review the effect current Administrative Rules
and Regulations have on bingo operations and potential effects new rules will have on licensees and
their bingo operations.

Study of alternative styles of bingo games not currently available in
Texas
.
The BAC will investigate, review and comment on alternative
styles of bingo games that would benefit licensees, including but not limited to linked bingo,
progressive bingo, instant bingo cardminders, etc. Additionally the BAC will stay appraised of
any technological changes in the bingo industry.

Review of new legislation including utilization and impact study.
The BAC will review new legislation and study the impact the
new legislation has on bingo operations

Review specific recommendations for positive public awareness of charitable bingo.
The BAC will review and comment on specific recommendations
that would improve charitable bingo through positive public awareness initiatives.

Review specific recommendations for improvement of bingo operations.
The BAC will review and comment on specific recommendations
that would improve bingo operations by increasing gross receipts, charitable distributions, and
attendance.

Advise the Commission on the needs of the industry for operator training.
The BAC will make recommendations to the Commission on
beneficial items for inclusion in operator training programs.
