Charitable Bingo Training Program

The Bingo Chairperson  of all licensed authorized organizations are required to be current on the Bingo Training Program requirement . Officers, directors, operators, workers or the other individuals may also attend the training program on a voluntary basis. All attendees are encouraged to read the Bingo Enabling Act and the Charitable Bingo Administrative Rules prior to the training session to facilitate understanding. Class length has been shorted to approximately 5 hours and includes extensive content revision due to House Bill 1474.

The general annual Bingo Training Program schedule will be to try and schedule two physical-site programs per regional audit area, approximately six months apart. If an organization wants the Bingo Training Program to be conducted in a city other than those listed above or as a special class, and is willing to pay the travel expenses of the state employees teaching the course, please contact the Austin headquarters by telephone (1-800-246-4677) or by e-mail ( bingo.services@lottery.state.tx.us ). The Charitable Bingo Operations Division will attempt to accommodate organizations wanting special training classes, but we may not be able to honor all requests.
