How old do you have to be to play Bingo?
Section 2001.418 of the Bingo Enabling Act states:"An individual younger than 18 years of age
may not play bingo conducted under a license issued under this chapter unless the individual is
accompanied by the individual's parent or guardian. A license holder may prohibit all individuals
younger than 18 years of age, as determined by the license holder, from entering the license
premises by posting a written notice to that effect at the premises."
I have a complaint against a bingo hall and the conduct of the game.
All complaints against either a bingo hall or a particular bingo game are handled through the
Compliance Activity Monitoring Process (CAMP) administered by the Retailer Services section of the
Lottery Operations Division. All complaints must be submitted in writing. The person filing the

The Bingo Enabling Act allows nonprofit organizations that hold a 501c exemption from the IRS
and obtain a license to conduct bingo to raise funds for charitable purposes. The only exemptions
to this license requirement are for patients in VA and other hospitals, nursing home residents, and
certain senior citizen groups and activities. The Bingo Enabling Act does allow individuals to play
in the privacy of their homes if the number of individuals playing does not exceed 15. Contact our
